This Privacy Policy explains how Mejoy Infinite Limited (“SnapDoc,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) handles information when you access or use the SnapDoc mobile application and related services.
SnapDoc is a document creation, image-to-text recognition, AI-assisted writing, personal knowledge management, and media organization tool.
Documents, recognized text, knowledge collections, and related content created or saved in SnapDoc are primarily stored locally on your device.
SnapDoc does not automatically upload your complete document library, knowledge base, or photo library to cloud storage.
Deleting the application, clearing application data, resetting your device, or changing devices may result in the loss of locally stored content. You are responsible for maintaining backups of important information.
Backups created through your device, operating system, Apple account, or another backup service are controlled by the relevant service provider rather than SnapDoc.
SnapDoc may request access to your camera or photo library when you choose to:
Image-to-text recognition and media analysis are generally performed locally on your device.
SnapDoc does not automatically upload your photos or videos and does not send your complete photo library to an AI service.
You may change or revoke camera and photo permissions through your device settings. Some features may no longer function after the relevant permission is revoked.
SnapDoc uses artificial intelligence services provided by OpenAI for optional text-processing features, including:
AI features do not run automatically.
When you select text and request an AI action, the following information may be transmitted to OpenAI:
SnapDoc does not automatically send OpenAI your complete document library, complete knowledge base, complete photo library, or unrelated content.
Data submitted through the OpenAI API is not used to train or improve OpenAI models by default unless the API customer explicitly chooses to share that data. Mejoy Infinite Limited does not intentionally opt in to such data sharing for SnapDoc user content.
OpenAI may process or retain certain information where necessary to provide its services, maintain security, monitor or prevent abuse, or comply with legal obligations. OpenAI’s handling of information is also governed by its own terms, privacy policies, service configuration, and data-processing practices.
Do not submit passwords, payment information, identity documents, medical records, confidential business information, trade secrets, or other highly sensitive information through AI features.
AI-generated results may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or unsuitable for a particular purpose.
You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying AI-generated content before saving, publishing, sharing, submitting, or relying on it.
AI-generated content does not constitute legal, medical, financial, investment, tax, academic, or other professional advice.
SnapDoc may help you identify or review:
These classifications are provided for convenience and may not always be accurate.
Media analysis is generally performed locally on your device.
SnapDoc does not automatically delete photos or videos. Files are deleted only after you select and confirm them.
Deleted media may remain temporarily available in your device’s Recently Deleted album, depending on your operating system settings.
We use information only as necessary to:
Selected text and related instructions may be transmitted to OpenAI when you use an AI feature.
Limited technical and transaction information may also be processed by Apple, OpenAI, infrastructure providers, or other service providers where necessary to operate, secure, and deliver SnapDoc.
We do not:
We may disclose limited information where required by applicable law, a valid legal request, court order, or government authority, or where reasonably necessary to protect SnapDoc, our users, our service providers, or others.
SnapDoc offers both free and paid services.
If you choose to subscribe to a paid service, you agree to pay the fees (“Fees”) displayed or quoted to you at the time of purchase.
We may calculate applicable taxes based on the billing information, country, region, or storefront information associated with your purchase.
You are responsible for charges related to accessing or using the purchased service, including internet or mobile data charges, bank charges, and currency-conversion or foreign-exchange charges imposed by your payment provider.
You will pay the Fees in the currency displayed or quoted at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to change the currencies in which paid services are offered, except where prohibited by applicable law.
We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. However, where we have offered a specific subscription duration and Fee, that Fee will remain applicable for the purchased duration, subject to applicable App Store rules, taxes, currency changes, and legal requirements.
The price, subscription period, included features, and any introductory offer or free trial will be displayed before you confirm a purchase.
Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each subscription period until canceled.
Purchases made through the Apple App Store are processed and billed by Apple under the Apple Media Services terms and your Apple account settings.
SnapDoc does not directly receive or store your complete payment card number, bank account number, or Apple account password.
We may receive limited purchase and subscription information from Apple or another authorized payment provider, such as:
We use this information to verify purchases, activate paid features, restore purchases, prevent fraud, provide customer support, and maintain subscription records.
Your payment provider may process payment information, billing information, tax information, and transaction details according to its own privacy policy and terms.
Subscriptions purchased through Apple automatically renew unless canceled through your Apple account.
Apple may charge your selected payment method shortly before the renewal date in accordance with its billing rules.
You can manage or cancel an Apple subscription through your device settings by opening your Apple account subscription settings and selecting the relevant subscription.
Canceling a subscription prevents future renewals but generally does not immediately remove access to paid features. You may continue using the paid service until the end of the current paid period, unless otherwise required by Apple or applicable law.
Deleting SnapDoc does not automatically cancel an active subscription.
Payments and refund requests for purchases billed through Apple are managed by Apple and are subject to Apple’s refund rules and applicable law.
Mejoy Infinite Limited does not control whether Apple approves or denies a refund request.
If a refund, reversal, or chargeback is issued, access to the corresponding paid features may be removed or adjusted.
Nothing in this Privacy Policy limits any mandatory refund or consumer rights available under applicable law.
Locally stored documents and knowledge base content remain on your device until you delete them, clear the application data, or uninstall SnapDoc.
Text submitted for AI processing is handled according to OpenAI’s applicable service configuration, security practices, and data-retention controls.
Purchase and subscription records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to:
You can delete locally stored documents directly within SnapDoc.
You can also remove local application data by uninstalling SnapDoc, although system-level backups and payment records controlled by Apple or another service provider may remain available.
Uninstalling the application does not cancel an active subscription.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information processed through SnapDoc.
However, no local storage system, network transmission, payment system, or third-party service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
OpenAI, Apple, and other technical service providers may process information in countries or regions outside your place of residence.
Where required by applicable law, information will be handled in accordance with applicable data-protection and cross-border transfer requirements.
SnapDoc is not specifically directed to children below the minimum age required to consent to personal data processing or enter into paid subscription agreements in their country or region.
Children may only use SnapDoc or purchase paid services with the involvement and authorization of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.
If you believe a child has submitted personal information or purchased a service without appropriate authorization, please contact us.
Depending on your country or region, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or information about how your data is processed.
Most document and knowledge base content is stored locally and can be managed directly within SnapDoc or through your device.
Transaction and subscription information controlled by Apple must generally be managed through your Apple account or Apple Support.
